Darien Lakes State Park, the
1,800-acre park that’s just four
miles away from Six Flags Darien Lake Amusement Park.
Considered a hidden gem, it offers an abundance of experiences DARIEN LAKES STATE PARK

Hours:
The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
The park’s Harlow Lake provides great fishing, and is habitat for
Beach/swimming: summer, 11am-6:45pm daily, weather permitting.
Largemouth Bass and Yellow Perch, as well as various species of
Camping: late May-Mid October
waterfowl and aquatic life. Park visitors also enjoy free summer Shelter reservation: daily, May through September
concert series each Tuesday night June through August. During
the winter its multiple-use trails are open for hiking, cross-country

skiing and snowmobiling. It’s the perfect place to spend a day or
stay for a few nights.
