Join us at GCV&M on Sunday, December 22, to celebrate the season with a magical medley of holiday happenings! Enjoy breakfast in the Meeting Center with St. Nick, then stroll the Historic Village bedecked in its holiday finery amid villagers bustling with preparations and offering greetings to their neighbors and friends.
Bring your family for a festive exploration of our historic homes that are warmed by fires and alive with holiday lights, candles, and traditional decorations. Experience traditional music, sample tasty treats, and see the celebrations of holidays past!
Explore the charming Historic Village
Visit the Altay Store to explore the commercial history of Christmas, see and smell the cooking of traditional Polish dishes in Jones Farm Kitchen, stop by Brooks Grove Church to hear David Shakes (North Star Players) speak about the importance of Watch Night for African American families across the nation in 1862, as well as the impact Watch Night still has for families today, explore Victorian holiday decorations in Hamilton House, learn about Hanukkah gifts in Foster House, see a traditional tree lighting, and so much more.
