Not sure what to try first? The Heavy Maple won Gold and the prestigious Governor’s Cup in the 2021 NYS Craft Beer Competition, while the Tiga Queen won Best NYS Beer! Main Street Pizza Company offers all the traditional pizzeria favorites, but with the addition of 32 wing flavors. Yes, you read that right...32! Not a pizza-lover? T.F. Brown's Restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, offering Western, NY favorites like chicken wings and beef on weck. History buffs rejoice! The Holland Land Office Museum is chock-full of Batavia and Western, NY history. While you're visiting, be sure to look for the Medal of Honor received by Batavian Charles F. Rand, who was the first soldier in the nation to volunteer to the Civil War or check out the gibbet that was used to perform hangings, a darker piece of Genesee County's past. After your explore, check out the Batavia Peace Garden, located right next door!
