Enjoy Maple Season Offerings

Although the official State-wide Maple Weekend Festivities have been cancelled this year, many maple farms are still offering opportunities to visit, see the maple-making process and of course purchase maple products.  We hope you'll enjoy the taste of the season by visiting our local maple producers this month!

Did you know it takes 40 liters of sap to make one liter of delicious maple syrup? March is for all things maple and here’s what you’ll find in Genesee County.

Maple Farms & Sugarhouses

Sweet Dream Maple Farm | Reynolds Road, Corfu
Operated by Al & Amy Stein, Sweet Dream Maple Farm produces pure NYS Maple Syrup from hundreds of trees owned by friends and neighbors and tapped the old-fashioned way- with buckets. The blend of age-old tradition and modern technology enables Sweet Dream Maple Farm to bottle some of the most delicious maple syrup around.

To visit this year:  The farm is open to visitors anytime by calling or text ahead to (585) 356-2669. You can say hello to their sweet animals, purchase product, and even watch the syrup making process behind a plexiglass window. All Covid-19 safety behaviors should be adhered to (masks, distancing).

Randall’s Maple Products | Smithley Road, Alexander
Set in a picturesque farm setting adorned with a pond, Eric & Eleanor Randall make delicious maple syrup for all to enjoy. Although they normally offer tours of their sugarhouse and maple syrup making demonstrations, this year it is just open for syrup sales.

Junior’s Maple | Alexander Road (Rt. 98), Batavia
Terry (Jr.) & Britt Witkop are the sugar masters behind Junior’s Maple. Be sure to call ahead to explore this local maple farm. Visitors and locals are also welcome to stop by the sugar house anytime to purchase maple syrup.  You can purchase maple from their "breezeway" by leaving cash or check in the box.
