Batavia Country Club is an 18-hole championship course, centrally located between Buffalo and Rochester. Originally built in 1964 as Byron Meadows, it has been family-owned and operated as Batavia Country Club since 1972. The course offers a fair test to golfers of all skill levels, with tees starting at 5,300 yards and stretching to over 7,200 yards! The front nine is fairly forgiving, with minimal tree trouble. But it’s not without a few risks and rewards at holes 2 and 8. The back nine is much more defined with tree-lines, making accurate tee shots important. BCC is most noted for its huge, deceivingly undulating, but always receptive greens. Good shots are always rewarded! With reasonable rates, great facilities, and a friendly atmosphere this club will soon become a favorite!
