Recently I was at the Holland Land Office Museum and noticed a new acquisition to the museum. It was the little shopping basket you would use if you were shopping at JJ Newberry’s. It’s amazing that seeing items from the past can trigger so many memories. I was taken back to Christmas in downtown Batavia circa 1960.
