Nature Sunday Experiences | Genesee Country Village & Museum
The Genesee Country Nature Center is an outstanding natural area with hundreds of acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds, old fields, fascinating geologic formations, plants, and animals. Visit the Nature Center on Sundays in August for an independent hike, or join one of our naturalists for a guided family-friendly nature experience.
Summer theme: popular pollinators!
Join us between 1:00 and 3:00 on Nature Sundays in August [7th, 14th, 21st, 28th] to learn all about the most popular little pollinators, the bees! Veteran beekeeper Melanie Baldek will be on hand at the Nature Center to introduce children and adults to the fascinating ways of our buzzing friends. You can also visit our pollinator gardens and check out our own beehive (from a safe distance) out on the nature trails. Suggested donation $5/person or $10/family.
For special activities, weekly weather updates, and more, call (585) 294-8262. Check-in for Nature Sunday Experiences is in the Nature Center.
