Eli Fish 2022 Home-brewing Contest
Eli Fish will be hosting its second annual home-brew contest. The first 25 home-brewers to submit their proposed beer to adam@elifishbrewing.com will be entered into the competition and receive the full contest instructions. Beers will be judged based on BJCP guidelines. Guest brewers from across WNY will be on the judging panel.
Beers submitted will be sampled and judged by the panel of judges. Beers are due the week of April 4th, and no later than April 8th at close.
The winning homebrewer will receive:
- $250 Gift Card to Eli Fish
- Merchandise bag with t-shirt, glassware, and more.
- The winning brewer will be invited to brew the winning beer at Eli Fish*, for draft and cans.
Please submit a minimum 32 ounces of beer in a minimum of 2 different containers. (3x12oz, 2x22oz, etc.) Please attached a paper to EACH bottle stating all of the following:
- Name
- Email address
- Mailing Address
- Beer Name
- Beer Style
- ABV, IBU.
- Please keep further details about the beer as brief as possible.
Judging will take place April 12th. Winner Announced April 16th.
*We cannot accept recipes for cold-side bacterially soured beers, Brettanomyces beers, beers brewed with artificial flavorings or ingredients, or beers requiring extended aging (more than 30 days or aging in barrels) for this contest. If there is a reason we cannot brew the winning beer on our system, our brewer will work with the winning home-brewer to brew something we can all be happy with.
