For 3 minutes and 42 seconds, the moon will pass between the sun and Earth, plunging the county into a deep twilight. From 3:19 to 3:23 pm, bright stars and planets will appear, and the sun’s outer atmosphere will shine around the black disk of the moon’s silhouette.
