Cheese Making Class | Genesee Country Village & Museum

Enjoy a truly unique experience making cheese alongside a historic cook in the Jones Farmhouse. Using 19th-century cheese-making techniques, participants will understand the hard work and patience it took to make a staple of the 19th-century diet.

During this class, you will also make a hearty noon meal of handmade biscuits, and soup. Participants will work together to churn their own butter to top off the meal. Before heading home, participants will take home a wedge of the finished cheese.
