The informative and fun story takes place at the fictional Genesee Farm on April 8, 2024, when Genny the Cow and her farm animal friends experience the solar eclipse.

Genny the Cow is amazed by something special happening in the sky. When the Sun disappears and the sky suddenly darkens, the other animals head to the barn for bed. Genny explains that it’s not really nighttime, but a solar eclipse! After sharing safe viewing glasses with her friends, they experience the once-in-a-lifetime event together.

The book was created under art direction of Glenn Clark, Crafting A Brand, written by Colleen Onuffer, Break the Ice Media, and illustrated by Andy Reddout, who also designed the County’s commemorative poster.

  • Purchase Genny Sees The Eclipse for $14.99 in our online store or in person at the visitor center. If you order online it can be shipped or picked up with your receipt at the visitor center Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30.

All proceeds of this limited-edition book will be donated to non-profit animal shelters within Genesee County.
