What better way to celebrate autumn than with Apples, Apples, Apples! On Monday, October 9, (the LAST day of our 2023 regular season), we’ll have activities, talks, crafting, and demonstrations all day in the Historic Village and Nature Center.
Explore the Historic Village
In the Historic Village, you can see an apple press in action, explore Historic Kitchens to experience foods bring prepared using apples, learn about drying apples, and more. We’ll have a variety of heirloom apples on display, and visitors can learn about the history of the crop in NY State and what kinds of apples are produced in orchards in this region. And don’t forget to explore our apple orchards around the Museum grounds – the perfect place for a fall family photo!
