Teen Woodcarving Class
Looking for an activity your teens can do during Winter Break? Have them join award winning carver Chris Kieber for an introductory woodcarving class designed especially for them. Participants will learn how to carve a traditional shorebird decoy. The class will include knife safety, sharpening, and instruction on how to make different knife cuts.
No previous experience is required. A wood blank and pattern will be provided. Knives, safety gloves and sharpening strops will be available for students to use during class. Please bring a lunch with you. Space is limited.
