Join us for a unique happy hour experience on warm spring evening set in the Historic Village. This event is for adults 21+ and GCV&M will be checking ID at the gate- no infants or children allowed for this event.

What is History on Tap?

Live up happy hour with friends in the midst of our Historic Village! Sample local craft beers, wines, ciders (including our Flint & Steel Bourbon Barrel Cider), and more, including GCV&M's own Fat Ox and Intrepid Ales.

Munch on festival foods from GCV&M restaurants, while modern bluegrass flavored with the soul of Western New York energizes your evening.

Explore the museum grounds after hours and enjoy special access to our historic homes! Full glasses, bottles and growlers of your favorite beverages will be available for purchase.

Admission includes:

  • 2 oz. tastings of beers, wines and ciders
  • LIVE music by The Crooked North
  • Costumed guides in buildings throughout the Historic Village
  • Access to browse other historic homes the Historic Village

This event is for persons ages 21 and over; IDs will be checked at the admissions gate. Purchase ahead online and save $5! Please be aware that if you purchase online you will not receive tickets in the mail. Please print your e-receipt to present at admissions for entry, or show on a phone. 

Event admission is $20 pre-sale online or $25 at the door. Members receive $2 off online and at the door.

We are offering a $10 designated driver ticket for those who are not drinking (must be 21+)! Cash bar available throughout the evening. Doors open at 5:00pm. FREE parking available for all visitors.

History on Tap ticket does not include admission to the museum during the day.
