Take an after-hours guided tour through the candlelit and spooky streets of the historic village to find costumed characters spinning tales from iconic horror literature of the 19th century. This special evening program is different than a usual daytime visit to the museum. Using the Historic Village as its canvas, costumed tour guides will lead guests by lantern-light through the darker recesses of the village to re-discover literary tales that Western New Yorker's were reading some 150 years ago. (Reservations required.)
Enjoy a 75 minute candlelit tour of some of our Historic Village's houses. Each stop will feature a short theatrical vignette based on a popular novel, poem or short story.
You must book a specific tour time. Check out the GCV&M website for reservation information.
All ages welcome. However, due to the nature of the program, it is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
