Ghost hunters, Bigfoot researchers, paranormal enthusiasts, holistic healers, vendors and fans of the paranormal will gather at Rolling Hills Asylum Paracon on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Rolling Hills Asylum is located at 11001 Bethany Center Road, East Bethany, NY 14054. The event will feature special daytime tours, lectures, history tours, mini ghost hunts, a Hearse show and a live band. Established in 1827, the Genesee County Poor House (originally a working farm) soon became a dumping ground for the outcasts of society. Widows and orphans mingled with lunatics and the unclaimed dead were buried on the property.  With over 1,700 documented deaths and hundreds not recorded, it's no wonder Haunted North America rated it as the second most haunted site in the United States. Admission to Rolling Hills Asylum Paracon is $20 and can be purchased online at https://rollinghillsasylum.ticketleap.com/rhaparacon/.
