Four places for delicious BBQ in Genesee County

For being a relatively small place, Genesee County, NY certainly has its fair share of delicious barbecue joints. Mouth-watering ribs covered in special rubs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken and other items have made the county a culinary destination for barbecue lovers.
Here are four restaurants in Genesee County where BBQ is the name of the game.
Alex's Place, 8322 Park Road, Batavia
Alex's Baby Back Ribs are known and revered throughout the region. What started as a one-room restaurant 25 years ago evolved into a charming and popular 100 seat destination. Alex's ribs have won numerous awards in culinary competitions throughout the state, including the "People's Choice Awards" three consecutive years at the Roc City Rib Fest in Rochester. Open lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Smokin' Eagle BBQ & Brew, 9 Main Street, LeRoy
Located in a 200 year old building in downtown LeRoy, the Smokin' Eagle BBQ & Brew is great place to visit during lunch, dinner and into the night. This place has a major reputation for their smoked chicken wings - oh so good!. In the summer months, you can enjoy food and beverages on their patio overlooking the Oatka Creek. Smokin' Eagle also regularly features live music.
Center Street Smokehouse, 20 Center Street, Batavia
When a restaurant sells over "30 Tons of BBQ each year" they know what they are talking about. Many of their items are slow-cooked over hickory and oak wood, giving the food an amazing taste. The restaurant's two-level interior and decor has a cool retro vibe. Great location in downtown. They are open for dinner seven days a week starting at 4:00 p.m.
Indian Falls Log Cabin Restaurant, 1227 Gilmore Road, Corfu
Indian Falls Log Cabin Restaurant offers fantastic views, and is especially beautiful in the summer and fall. Nestled in the countryside off Rt. 77 at Exit 48-A (Pembroke), it's a local favorite and a favorite of those on bike or snowmobile! Great beef on weck, BBQ, and more. Stop in and see what all the fuss is about. They are open Monday-Saturday from 11AM to midnight or later (open Sundays at noon).
