Discover what lurks in the water! Pond Discovery program this Saturday.
Delve into some wild creature encounters this Saturday, May 9, when the Genesee County Park & Forest hosts a “Pond Discovery” program from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.! The program will take place at the Genesee County Park & Forest Interpretive Nature Center at 11095 Bethany Center Road, East Bethany, NY 14054.
Attendees will learn about the fascinating creatures that live their life in a pond. Be prepared to get a little muddy and wet. You will be using a net and sharing a bucket of water to catch animals. You will then learn about what you captured from a Naturalist Guide. $5 per person, $10 for a family. Pre-registration is required by calling (585) 344-1122.
