A beloved Batavia restaurant - T.F. Browns
Located at 214 East Main Street in the heart of downtown Batavia is the home of a local, family-owned restaurant, T.F.Brown's, the restaurant is named after Mordecai Brown, a dominant major league pitcher in the 1900s who went by the nickname, “Three Finger Brown.”
Rick Mancuso operates the very successful, authentic sports themed bar and restaurant since 1995. T.F. Brown's is known for the delicious dish called "Batavia's Favorite" which includes a beef on weck, six wings and your choice of fries, macaroni salad or onion rings, making the perfect combination. With food ranging "the best beef on weck," to chicken wings in all different kinds of sauces, to Italian dishes with homemade sauce, to half pound burgers, salads, soups, a wide variety of appetizers and so much more the menu is far from average.
The restaurant offers a kids menu and daily specials making it a great place to dine even for the most finicky eaters. The prices are very reasonable to help you enjoy your experience. The restaurant includes over 20 televisions that are constantly showing any sports game you can imagine. Inside the restaurant is a game room that includes a dart board and pool table along with many other games. There is a bowling alley connected to the restaurant making this place suitable and fun for all ages.
The bowling alley is open to the public and also for leagues. As soon as you enter T.F. Brown's you’ll notice a case full of local and famous athletes and their accomplishments with trophies, jerseys, and photos. On all of the walls there are countless sports memorabilia from local athletes to major ones making the atmosphere relaxed and fun!
The dining room offers booths or table seating; also high-top tables near the bar are available depending on your preference. There is also always room at the bar to enjoy one of the many beers on tap, wines that will please even the most discerning palate. There is additional seating on the patio which is great for this time of year to enjoy the weather and a delicious meal at the same time! T.F.
