As part of the 200th anniversary celebration the creation of a time capsule has been planned with help from Board Member James R. Owen who was involved in the Redfield Parkway Time Capsule that took place in 2012. The county time capsule will be opened in the year 2065 to coincide with the 150th Anniversary of the City of Batavia, the Genesee County seat.
