Getting there proved challenging as traffic congestion in western Genesee County slowed concertgoers enroute to Tuesday's Vans Warped Tour at Darien Lake Theme Park.
But once inside, they were able to partake in music from dozens of bands -- 68 were slated to play at Darien Lake -- performing a variety of styles.
The Warped Tour began in the 1990s as a tour featuring punk rock and extreme sports. Since then, the tour has incorporated other genres such as rap, pop and the seemingly paradoxical genre of Christian metalcore.
Among the notable acts at Tuesday's tour stop were Rise Against, the Used, Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low and New Found Glory.
The Warped tour has become a regular summer visitor to the Darien Lake, playing on several stages set up around the grass lots near the amphitheater.
Photographer Nick Serrata braved both the traffic and the heat to share these sights from the tour's stop.
