Heavy metal shows ready to rock Darien Lake

Mar 5, 2020

For those of you who like to rock, Live Nation has a ticket for you.

Four summer concerts at the Six Flags Darien Lake amphitheater are being branded together as the “Ticket to Rock,” which like the Country Megaticket, is a multi-show package where a single ticket can allow access to four concerts.

The metal-centric “Ticket to Rock” lineup features Megadeth and Lamb of God, playing June 26; Breaking Benjamin, July 24; Disturbed, Aug. 10; and Korn and Faith No More, Sept. 6.

Fan can see all the shows for one ticket. Lawn packages start at $69; reserved seat packages start at $89. Tickets are on sale now at tickettorock.livenation.com.

Individual tickets for Breaking Benjamin go on sale 10 a.m. Friday. The 5 p.m. show also includes Bush, Theory of a Deadman, and Cory Marks. Tickets cost $29.50 to $99.50.

Breaking Benjamin, which wrapped a North American co-headlining arena tour with Korn, is going back out on the road in support of its latest release, “Aurora.” The recording showcases re-imagined versions of the band’s most popular songs, including “Dear Agony,” “So Cold” and “Red Cold River.”

While the Ticket to Rock series was announced this week, individual tickets had previously gone on sale for three of the shows. They include:

  • Megadeth and Lamb of God will be joined by Trivium and In Flames for a 6 p.m. June 24 concert. Tickets cost $25 to $99.50.
  • Disturbed returns to Darien Lake as part of “The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour,” which also includes Staind and Bad Wolves for a 7 p.m. Aug. 10 show. Tickets cost $29.50 to $149.50.
  • Korn and Faith No More are teaming up for a 26-city tour that includes a Sept. 6 stop at the Darien Lake Amphitheater. They will be joined by special guests Helmet and ’68 for the 6 p.m. show. Tickets cost $29.50 to $125.

Individual tickets are available from livenation.com and Ticketmaster.
