Two big-name rock acts will perform at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center this summer. LiveNation announced Monday morning that punk rockers Green Day and classic rockers Foreigner have been added to the summer concert series.
Green Day, one of the biggest rock bands in the world over the past 20 years, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 with special guest Catfish and the Bottlemen as part of the Revolution Radio Tour. The three-part band has sold about 30 million albums in the United States, led by the major label debut, "Dookie," in 1994. They released their 12th album, "Revolution Radio," in October.
Tickets range from $30 to 89.50.
Foreigner continues to tour after four decades in the business and will bring its 40th Anniversary Tour to Darien Lake for a 7 p.m. show on July 21. They will be joined by special guest Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. Foreigner last played Darien Lake in 2015.
