GO ART! debuting “Play Me A Tune Music Garden” on Thursday

Oct 23, 2019

Mix playing outdoors and music making, and you’ll likely end up with a lot of fun.

GO ART! will host an open house at its new “Play Me A Tune Music Garden” from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The event will include food trucks, doughnuts and cider, and — naturally — family fun.

“Hopefully this is an opportunity for kids to come play, and parents to play as well, and hopefully enjoy the thing as a family,” said Executive Director Gregory Hallock of GO ART!

The “Play Me A Tune Music Garden” is located behind the GO Art! location on 201 East Main. Street. It features 18 different percussion instruments.

Children — or for that matter their parents — enjoy the opportunity to make music in an outdoor environment. They’ll be available whenever GO ART! is open.

The garden was made possible through funding from KaBOOM! and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
