BATAVIA — Maureen deGolyer whispered as a group of men in Genesee Chorale ushered in a lesser known version of “Ave Maria.”
She was talking about the upcoming concerts for the group while it rehearsed at First Presbyterian Church. Titled “Scenes from the Nativity,” the program will feature a children’s chorus, Greycliffe String Quartet, holiday tunes and some more obscure melodies sung a cappella. Keep reading…
