Lourenco, 37, is a widely-traveled artist and sculptor. She studied at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland and was awarded the Nathan Cummings Travel Fellowship.
That allowed Lourenco to travel to India, where she studied the culture and landscape that now reveal themselves in her art.
