BATAVIA — It’s kind of funny that a former TV news anchor likes to make up stories.Yet it’s creative writing that has served Lisa Ann Scott well in the next chapter of her career. Formerly at Channel 4, Scott was let go in a round of layoffs in 2008. She had been there for 11 years and couldn’t see anything beyond a closed door.
