BATAVIA — The second season of the Rockin’ The Downs concert series at Batavia Downs is on the money. Eddie Money, that is.
The rocker famous for megahits “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Take Me Home Tonight” is the only returning act from last year’s inaugural season and will leadoff this year’s series on June 22.
Concerts will run for eight consecutive Friday nights at the Downs. That’s an expansion from last year’s slate of six shows.
Here is the schedule:
• June 22 — Eddie Money
• June 29 — Grand Funk Railroad
• July 6 — Blue Oyster Cult
• July 13 — Rik Emmett
• July 20 — Rumours: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute
• July 27 — Puddle of Mudd
• Aug. 3 — Three Dog Night
• Aug. 10 — Lee Ann Womack
Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through BataviaConcerts.com and at Batavia Downs, 8315 Park Road. Individual tickets are $10 for general admission and $25 for VIP passes. A season pass is available for $60 general admission and $150 VIP.
