LE ROY — One of the biggest country music stars of the 1990s is headed to Western New York.
The Ridge announced Wednesday that two-time Grammy winner Travis Tritt will play a concert on Aug. 25, 2018.
Tritt broke out in 1990 with the release of his debut album, “Country Club,” which included hits “Help Me Hold On,” “I’m Gonna Be Somebody” and “Drift Off to Dream.” His second album, “It’s All About to Change,” featured the Grammy winning “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’” and the No. 1 single “Anymore.”
Tritt released his most recent album, “The Calm After...” in 2013.
The 54-year-old has also done a lot of acting, having appeared in films like “Blues Brothers 2000” and the forthcoming “Forever My Girl.”
Tickets for the show will be available sometime after the first of the year, according to the release from The Ridge.
