Fans of the 1990s rock scene will have another reason to visit Darien Lake this summer.
LiveNation announced that Third Eye Blind will perform this summer at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Tuesday. This announcement comes on the heels of the Green Day concert and seems to signify that the concert promoter is trying to balance out the summer series rather than continue to go all-in on country acts.
The Third Eye Blind concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. June 29. It will feature special guests Silversun Pickups as part of the Summer Gods Tour.
Third Eye Blind burst onto the music scene in 1997 when their debut single, “Semi-Charmed Life,” became a top-10 single. The band’s self-titled debut album went on to sell more than 6 million copies in the United States.
Third Eye Blind released their latest EP, “We Are Drugs” in October.
Tickets for the show range from $21 to $96 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 through LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and Charge By Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
