The summer concert series at Darien Lake’s Performing Arts Center continues to take shape and might be the most balanced slate the venue has seen in years.
The latest addition is the July 25 show with pop rock group One Republic, LiveNation announced Thursday morning.
One Republic will bring its Honda Civic Tour to Darien Lake with special guests Fitz & the Tantrums and James Arthur.
One Republic burst onto the music scene with a monster debut single, “Apologize,” in 2007. It was a collaboration with Timbaland that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was a No. 1 hit around the world. They hit it big again in 2013 with the megahit, “Counting Stars,” which also peaked at No. 2. That single led the group’s third album, “Native,” to No. 4 on the Billboard Album chart.
Fitz & the Tantrums had one of the biggest rock hits of 2016 with “Handclap,” from their self-titled third album.
Tickets range from $25 to $135 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 through LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and Charge by Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
