CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: Korn and Alice in Chains coming to Darien Lake

Feb 25, 2019

DARIEN CENTER — Two big rock names from the 1990s have formed a hard-hitting tag team that will bring its summer tour to Darien Lake.

LiveNation announced Monday morning that Korn and Alice in Chains will perform on Aug. 2 at the Darien Lake Amphitheater. The show will include special guests Underoath and H09909.

Korn, a two-time Grammy Award-winning metal band from California, hit it big in the mid 90s with hits like “Falling Away From Me,” “Freak on a Leash” and “Here to Stay.”

Alice in Chains, one of the big four Seattle grunge bands with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, has kept that revolutionary sound alive for nearly 20 years. Their hits include “Man in the Box,” “Would?” and “No Excuses.”

Tickets range from $29.50 to $125 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and Charge By Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
