The summer concert series at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center may be dominated by country and rock acts, but rap and hip hop fans now have a show on the slate.
LiveNation announced Tuesday that rapper Future will perform on May 24 at the venue with special guests Migos, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black and Zoey Dollaz.
Future (real name: Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn) has worked extensively with Drake and was nominated for a Grammy this year for his work on Drake’s album, “Views.” The two also collaborated on Future’s biggest hit, “Jumpman” from the No. 1 mixtape “What A Time to Be Alive.”
Future is expected to release his self-titled fifth album later this year.
Tickets for the concert range from $26 to $89.50 and go on sale at noon Friday through LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and Charge by Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
