DARIEN CENTER — It wouldn’t be the Darien Lake summer concert series without some big-name country acts taking the stage. Well it got some firepower Friday morning with the announcement that Dierks Bentley would bring his Mountain High Tour to the Darien Lake Amphitheater.
The 11-time Grammy nominee will perform on Aug. 4 with special guests Brothers Osborne and Lanco.
Bentley burst onto the country music scene with his self-titled debut album in 2003. The first single, What Was I Thinkin, topped the country charts. He has had 15 songs top the U.S. Country Airplay Chart during his 15-year career, including “Every Mile a Memory,” “Drunk on a Plane” and “Somewhere on a Beach.”
Bentley’s most recent song, “Woman, Amen,” came out in January and will be featured on his forthcoming album, “The Mountain.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 16 through Livenation.com, Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
