DARIEN CENTER — What would you say to a Dave Matthews Band concert at Darien Lake this summer?
LiveNation announced Tuesday morning that the ever-touring group will perform at 8 p.m. June 27 at the Darien Lake Amphitheater.
The Grammy-winning group has been a touring mainstay for 20 years and has sold more than 30 million albums in the United States.
Dave Matthews Band found immediate success with their 1994 debut album, “Under the Table and Dreaming.” That spawned hit songs “What Would You Say” and “Ants Marching.” Their follow-up, “Crash,” was even bigger, selling more than 7 million copies in the United States and producing the group’s best-known song, “Crash Into Me.”
Dave Matthews Band has not released a new album (either studio, live or compilation) since 2012’s “Away from the World.”
