Concert announcement: Darien Lake offering three shows for $30

DARIEN CENTER — Anyone wanting to see a rock show at Darien Lake this summer, just got more incentive to do buy tickets.

LiveNation announced Wednesday night that the new Hot Summer Nights Package will provide concertgoers a lawn ticket to three shows for $30. The shows included are OneRepublic with Fitz & The Tantrums on July 25, Goo Goo Dolls with Phillip Phillips on Aug. 12 and Matchbox Twenty and Counting Crows on Sept. 11.

The package went on sale Wednesday and will remain available through July 23 or until sold out. The package is available through LiveNation.com.

As with all of the concerts this summer, all concertgoers receive free admission to the theme park on the day of the show. Since the park will be closed on Sept. 11, anyone with a ticket to the Matchbox Twenty and Counting Crows show will be able enter the theme park for free any open day after the concert.
