BATAVIA — Tourism spending continued to increase significantly last year in Genesee County, officials said Wednesday. Visitor spending on lodging increased from $14 million to $15.4 million, said President Tom Turnbull of the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, during a presentation before the county legislature’s Ways and Means Committee.
