Batavia Players continue ‘Hometown Christmas’ this weekend

BATAVIA — Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Batavia City Centre this weekend.

Batavia Players Hometown Christmas will be continuing this weekend with Santa Claus visiting 5-8 p.m. Friday and Mrs. Claus will be reading stories to children 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Also on Friday will be the Main Street 56 Dance Company doing a showcase of individual dances from 5-6 p.m. Then from 6-6:45 p.m. the Wolcott Street Players and fifth grade chorus will be performing followed by the Le Roy Jr./Sr. High Brass Ensembles from 6:45-7:30 p.m.

Saturday will have the Polkamaniacs from 12:15-1 p.m. performing, followed by the Batavia High School Sax Ensemble from 1-1:45 p.m., the Le Roy Town Band from 1:45-2:30 p.m. and the Alexander High School Chorus from 2:30-3:15 p.m.

Both days will have performances of the “North Pole Musical” by the Batavia Players at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The holiday craft and gift sale also continues in the City Centre concourse.
