Monday was Set-Up Day at the Genesee County Fairgrounds on Route 5 in Batavia. The Genesee County Fair opens to the public today.

Here is the schedule for today and Wednesday:

Today: Family Night at the Fair

8 a.m.-noon — Final set-up of Merton & Kennedy Building

7-10 a.m. — 4-H Goat Milking Competition, Livestock Building

9 a.m. — 4-H Meat Goat Show & Showmanship, Show Ring

9 a.m. — Draft Horse Halter Classes, Arena

9:30 a.m. — Open Class Rabbit & Chicken Show, Merton Building

10 a.m. — 4-H Poultry & Rabbit Show, Merton Building

11 a.m. — 4-H Market Beef Show & Showmanship, Show Ring

2:30 p.m. — 4-H Market Sheep Show & Showmanship, Show Ring

5 p.m. — Draft Horse Show Hitch Classes, Arena

6 p.m. — 4-H Market Hog Show & Showmanship, Show Ring

6:30 p.m. — “Genesee’s Got Talent” Talent Showcase

Square Dancing Demonstration (following the Talent Show), Exhibition Building

10 p.m. — Exhibit halls and buildings close

Wednesday: Children’s & Up With Youth Activities, Firefighters & Armed Forces Night

8 a.m. — 4-H Dog Show — Agility & Obedience Classes

8 a.m. — 4-H Dog Costume & Fun Obedience Classes, Parts Contest to follow

9 a.m. — 4-H Dairy Goat Show & Showmanship, Show Ring

11 a.m. — Exhibit halls and buildings open

2 p.m. — Small Fry Tractor Pull, Exhibition Building

2-4 p.m. — Horticulture Judging Fun Fair Activity, Kennedy Building

2-6 p.m. — Balloon Animal Demonstration, Kennedy Building

4-8 p.m. — Children’s Afternoon Activities, Around the Grounds

4 p.m. — Midway Opens, Amusement Area

4-8 p.m. — Mr. Scribbles, Festival Tent

5 p.m. — Classic Car Cruise, Near East Pembroke Grange

5:30 p.m. — Miniature Draft Horse Pulls, Horse Arena

5:30 p.m. — Parade Lineup, Route 5 Social Service Building

6 p.m. — “The Watering Trough” Beer Garden, Festival Tent

6 p.m. — 4-H & Open Swine Breeds & Showmanship, Show Ring

6 p.m. — Mercy Flight Helicopter Landing, TBA

6:30 p.m. — Genesee County Fair Grand Parade through the Fairgrounds

7 p.m. — “23 Ski-Do” New Orleans Style Brass Band, Parade and Roaming

After Parade — Karaoke Qualifying Rounds Exhibition Hall Stage

8-11 p.m. — “Ghost Riders” Genesee County’s Country Band, Festival Tent

10 p.m. — Exhibit halls and buildings close
