DARIEN CENTER — The Kingdom Bound Festival, one of the nation’s largest and longest-running Christian music festivals, returns to Darien Lake theme park this summer.

The 29th annual festival takes place July 22-25 with more than 45,000 people from across the U.S. and Canada expected to attend.

The festival will feature more than 50 internationally acclaimed musical acts, including performances by 2015 Grammy Award winners Lecrae and for King and Country, as well as headliners Casting Crowns, Newsboys, and Thousand Foot Krutch.

There will also be dozens of inspirational seminars featuring speakers from around the world. A complete, sortable list of all artists and speakers can be found at www.kingdombound.org/festival/lineup.

A new addition this year is the KB Creative Interactive Arts Tent featuring live art demonstrations of painting, pottery and drama. Instructor Tony Goodwin returns a year after selling out each of his live painting classes, where attendees leave with a canvas they’ve painted themselves (no experience necessary).

Ensuring that there are activities for the whole family to enjoy is a very important aspect of both the Festival and to Darien Lake, with specially programmed areas for kids aged 4-8 and 9-13 as well as targeted seminars for teenagers and parents.

Single-day tickets for the festival are $49-$69 and include admission to Darien Lake Theme Park and Water Park. Four-day festival passes including park admission are available for $159. Tickets are available online via www.kingdombound.org or at the gate at Darien Lake on the days of the festival.
