A Dance to Remember

Genesee Veterans Support Network invites the public to experience the sights and sounds of a World War II/USO style dinner dance. The second annual ‘‘A Dance to Remember’’ will be from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., Nov. 15 at the Batavia Downs Banquet Facility.

The dinner dance will feature live music by Derek Reiss and the 1940s swing band ‘‘Dizzy’’ with the GCC Forum Singers. Tickets are $45 each or $80 for a couple and include dinner, a special remembrance for veterans of all eras, photo opportunities and live and basket auctions.

There will be prizes for authentic period dress and fun for everyone. Tickets are available at Hawley’s Insurance Center, Genesee Community College Student Activities Office and WBTA Radio.
